Defence testing SOP revises charges, access slots and dispute arrangements

GS 3: Indigenisation of technology and developing new technology; achievements of Indians in science and technology.

The approved revision waives testing charges for specified MoD developmental projects and reserves proof-range slots for government-sponsored and indigenous industry-initiated development. It changes pre-existing access arrangements; slot eligibility and fee-waiver eligibility are not identical. [1][2]
